Burgess Hill

Cultural Quarter

Proposed Flexible Community and

Performing Arts Centre

THE CONSULTATION HAS NOW ENDED

Burgess Hill Town Council has undertaking a Public Consultation for a New Community and Arts Centre on Cyprus Road. The proposed Centre will include a new adaptable performance space with seating for up to 250-300. It will replace the redundant British Legion building beside the existing Cyprus Hall which will be retained with a new foyer area.

For more details, visit the Town Council website or visit the Help Point where there is a display and model of the proposed venue. You can view the consultation images here or download full presentation here.

To build this new centre the Town Council will need to get a loan from the Ministry for Housing, Communities and Local Government. To get this loan, the Town Council will need to show Community Support for the new Centre.

Burgess Hill residents were able to participate and we now await the outcome. For further information, watch the Town Council Website or visit the Help Point in Church Walk.
